What is CNC Part Marking?

Part marking refers to the process of adding identification, logos, text, or other markings to a CNC-machined part. This can be done using various techniques such as laser engraving or silk screen. The purpose of part marking is to provide unique identification, branding, traceability, or compliance with regulatory standards. These markings are often permanent and can be applied to a wide range of materials, including metals and plastics.

Our CNC Part Marking Capabilites

Please provide vector files (e.g., AI, AutoCAD DWG, or DXF) along with a PDF clearly indicating the precise marking locations; we offer part marking on every order using either laser engraving or silk screening. for more information or quote, please email [email protected].

Laser Engraving

Laser engraving is a precise and efficient method for marking parts with permanent, wear-resistant text or designs. The engraving typically retains the material’s natural color.

Specifications:

  • Engraving depth ranges from 0.08 mm to 1 mm

  • Paint filling option available

  • Suitable for all metal substrates

  • Effective on both flat and curved surfaces

Silk Screening

Silk screening is an affordable method, it uses a mesh stencil to press ink onto the CNC parts surface, offering vibrant colors and fine details.

Specifications:

  • Applicable on flat surfaces up to 300×300 mm

  • Compatible with metals and plastics (ABS, PVC, PC, PMMA)

  • Colors must adhere to RAL/Pantone standards
