Surface Preparation
Sandblasted according to our "sandblasting" standard, with 120 grit sand.
Pre-Anodizing Treatment
"Bright immersion" or "chemical polishing"
Machining Marks

- If the part is a "non-aesthetic part," machining marks may be slightly visible beneath the sandblasting
- If the part is an "aesthetic part," machining marks are completely removed

Surface Gloss
Target around 40GU. No less than 20GU. The ideal target appearance is like an Apple MacBook Pro. (Gloss method follows ISO 2813)
Hanging Marks
Control and consistency across the entire batch. Prefer titanium racks. If the part is an "aesthetic part," it should be placed on an invisible surface
Threads
Threads are not masked by default
